The Weblog

This page contains news, event information, and other items added by Ian and Adam, the resident farmers at Old 99. We send out a message every week, but most are set with a delete date about two weeks later. I archive some of the posts if they have content other than weekly availability of produce and meat.

You can send me questions too, which if they are of a general nature, I can post to this Old99 blog.

Week of Sept. 26 2021

As summer winds down and the days begin to get shorter we will have a cider pressing day. Keep watch for the date and you can see an old fashioned cider pressing.
Plenty of veggies available this week such as carrots, beets, golden turnips, purple top turnips, Swiss chard, collard greens, spinach, lettuces lettuces mixed greens, melons and so much more. Be sure to see the market listing for featured products too!

Plenty of eggs so don’t be shy to order extra for fall and winter baking.
Market times are 4pm to 6pm Thursday and Friday. Please place your order before 7am Thursday. Orders placed after this time may not be processed.
