The Weblog

This page contains news, event information, and other items added by Ian and Adam, the resident farmers at Old 99. We send out a message every week, but most are set with a delete date about two weeks later. I archive some of the posts if they have content other than weekly availability of produce and meat.

You can send me questions too, which if they are of a general nature, I can post to this Old99 blog.

Week of 4 April 2021

With the sounds of all the birds around, the trees and plants budding and peeper frogs singing loudly I think we can put the snow shovels away and say that spring has sprung.

We’ve been having some very nice weather lately and hopefully you’ve been able to enjoy it by hiking, cycling, walking or getting your garden beds ready.
While gardening is on your mind you should consider adding some of Old 99 Farm compost to your beds. Check out this quick video on Facebook showcasing our compost:

We have a great selection of beef available, and NEW THIS WEEK we have the first cutting of Rhubarb! Also check out our vegetable selection for fresh cut selections like red kale, green kale, collard greens, spinach, arugula, delicious green Swiss chard, baby mixed salad greens, baby green leaf lettuce heads and more!

SPECIAL THIS WEEK!

Please remember to place your order BEFORE 7am Thursday. Orders placed after this time may not be processed.
